Piran
Faroodi.
A software engineer who became a strategic expert.
Thirteen years working the seam between data, software, and commercial decisions — eight of them at VFS Global, progressively promoted from analyst to Deputy General Manager.
I run enterprise performance reporting and revenue strategy for senior leadership. I design the dashboards the function operates on, support growth planning across multiple regions, and build the automation that compresses the work nobody wants to do manually.
The combination is unusual for the function: I can write the requirements and ship the tool. Most of my career is the grown-up version of that — turning messy commercial reality into something an executive team can act on.

What I’m fluent in.
Designing and running the dashboards, scorecards, and review packs that senior leadership uses to track commercial health. KPI design, governance discipline, and the operating cadence behind board-level decisions.
Partnering with regional and account-level commercial teams to shape sales strategies, identify opportunity, and structure new initiatives. Translating messy cross-functional inputs into board-ready narratives and decision frameworks.
Designing centralised data structures that replace fragmented multi-team data pulls with reliable, governed, single-source-of-truth reporting layers. Less dependency on individuals, more trust in the numbers.
Building the apps and Power Platform tools that compress manual processes — turning hours of repetitive work into single-click workflows. The engineering background applied to operations.
The timeline.
If something resonates.
